- For a mugshot or booking record, follow the official lookup and request steps, then request the intake image separately from the sheriff.
- For a possible active warrant, use the safe confirmation routes on Wanted Fugitives. MyCase is helpful but is not a real-time warrant confirmation service.
- For someone recently arrested or presently held, check the Recent Bookings and Current Inmates modules described on the home page.
- For a release alert, use VINE or VINELink; for a court outcome, search MyCase or contact the Jay County Clerk.
- For a Portland, Dunkirk, or Redkey incident report, contact the arresting police department. The sheriff remains the custodian of a county jail intake record.
